  • If you weren’t in PR, what would you be doing? { One of my degrees is in history and I probably would have continued my education in this area. I would have enjoyed studying and writing books about the history of the U.S. and European influence in the Middle East and Africa and how this has shaped the world today.
  • What’s your favorite sports team? { 2021 National Champion Georgia Bulldawgs!
  • Where did you grow up? { I spent my childhood in Baton Rouge, but after Katrina, my family relocated to the Dallas suburbs where I attended high school. When we moved to Dallas, it was near the beginning of its boom. Houses, shops, schools were all brand new. This was a huge change from Louisiana where my elementary school was founded in the 1950s. I enjoyed the newness but missed the solid traditions and community you find in southern Louisiana.
  • What do you think makes the Gulf South so unique? { My favorite thing about the Gulf South is the strong sense of community. Having lived in large metro areas, one of the first things I noticed upon moving back is how welcoming and friendly everyone is.
  • What do you do for fun outside of the office? { One of my favorite things to do is find good stand-up comedy in the area or see a local band perform live. It’s a change of pace from usual weekend activities and helps me discover new music.
